The story of Tama Trading Company began in Los Angeles, in 1920, with a group of young Italian immigrants hoping to share a slice of their culture with their new home and make their way in a new country. Since then, we have become a fourth-generation, family-owned company and have had our hands in the fine international food scene across the country, developing many of the important brands and food items on the market today. In line with this, our mission has been to deliver to our communities the finest quality food and ingredients. We always strive to bring something new to the table – literally!

Over the past century, our unwavering commitment to the highest levels of quality and integrity is what has allowed us to remain an established and respected member of the international food community. We owe a great deal of gratitude to the loyal customers and vendors who help us pursue these values, many of whom have been on this mission with us for decades. Today, we proudly supply our customers with over three thousand items, many of which are exclusive to us, and are constantly on the lookout for the newest products of quality.
